5 Product Face

It’s been a minute since I did once of these but I’m going to try and share ‘what’s in my makeup bag’ style stuff more often in a bid to use more of what I have. THAT SAID, almost all of this is new so.. take that with a pinch of salt. This is what I’m wearing on my face TODAY.

NARS Radiant Tinted Moisturiser - Terre-Neuve

I picked this up after watching a dermatologist talk about her day/night routine and giving this as her go to base with good enough sun protection to be worn alone. You NEVER hear that so I finally pulled the trigger after already wanting to try this since it launched. It’s exactly the right amount of coverage for me. I’m wearing it without a primer and with no concealer or powder. There’s no oil control so I will blot with some tissue throughout the day at work but in terms of coverage and initial finish, I’m really enjoying it.

Beauty Pie Quick Colour Contour (light)

This was an instant hit. At some point I will compare this and the Charlotte Tilbury because I think they’re really similar but I find the Charlotte Tilbury one can be patchy. This is much more even and a dream to apply.

Beauty Pie Super Cheek Cream Blush (fresh faced)

If I could make my own cream blush colour, it would be this. It’s like a muted neon that gives a lit from within look with a summer twist. It’s kind of translucent one it’s blended out, reminds me of a Josie Maran Watercolour Cheek Gelee I’ve had FOREVER but is long discontinued. Not in texture but the way it looks on my skin. Will definitely be my go-to for Spring/Summer

Lancome Lash Idole Mascara

This was sent to me over a year ago at this point and I think I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve reached for another mascara in that time. I used to LOVE the Maybelline Lash Sensational and the primer from that range but this gives the same effect as those two combined and it lasts me for at least twice as long. So although it’s a luxury mascara, I feel like it’s still relatively cost effective and I’d buy another without a second thought.

Chanel Coco Rouge Lip Balm (pink delight)

This is a maybe in terms of a recommendation. I bought it last week in a moment of madness and initially I was impressed but really.. it’s not worth the price tag, is it? It can’t be. It feels nice on and the packaging is obviously beautiful but as it dries I have noticed that the pigment gathers a little and on first applying it doesn’t give me the perfected lip I’d want for the money. I was thinking of spending my Boots points on another colour but I might try something different instead.

I love an easy Spring makeup look. Super quick and fresh. What’s in your makeup bag this week?
