NARS - Sin
I recently picked up a few bits and bobs from NARS, it's a brand I haven't tried much from and I'm trying to broaden my beauty horizons this year. Sin was top of my list as I've had it before, I sold it thinking I wasn't getting enough use from it to keep it but missed it when it was gone. It's a cool, rosy mauve with a subtle shimmer running through it which catches the light when worn but isn't too 'glitter ball'. I should probably have applied it a little heavier as the camera doesn't appear to be picking much up on the 'face swatch' but on my pale skin I do wear it quite sheer.
It doesn't blend as nicely as some blushes I've tried and doesn't last all day but the colour works well against other shades I wear on my eyes and lips so it's had a lot of use lately. It fits in nicely with the new 90s trend that seems to be sticking around. The packaging is the same sleek compact that we've come to recognise and much as the rubbery texture DOES pick up finger marks left right and centre I still really like it. I have a couple of blushes I LOVE and want to take on holiday with me but the packaging is HUGE.. at least 4 times the size of this one. Fine for every day but not so much for travel..
