One In A Minion

IMG_9882Whenever I wear this dress Milo tells me I'm wearing my 'Minion costume', my husband isn't keen, my daughter is mortified but I love it! I looked for the longest time for a dungaree style to suit my boxy 'apple' shape, from long trouser-types to shorts and straight dresses, everything accentuated the bad but I loved the idea and I kept trying. I finally stumbled upon this denim 'pinny' from Anita & Green only for it to be out of stock everywhere. Out of stock? Out of season? eBay is your friend! I set an alert and eventually one popped up on a brand outlet, I ended up bagging it for just £10, brand new and it fits like a glove. Meant to be? I think so!IMG_9894Unfortunately I can't find any more stock at this point to share with you but here are some other more flattering dungaree styles for those who need some shape, all of which come in at £20 or less..CLQ3250-4_1

EBAY

IMG_9885I often feel like people are looking at me (especially when I'm with my kids) like 'she should dress her age' but I couldn't care less what anyone else thinks so long as I'm comfortable. Someone at work once said that my colleague (I'd guess late 40s) was 'too old to be wearing heels' ..I mean I get that dungarees are a little child-like but heels? Comments like that just make me more determined to ignore anyone who would dare to make them and  wear what the hell I like, regardless of my age!Oh and thanks to Emma for the impromptu photo session ;)
