Face mask Friday - LUSH Brazen Honey

I have spoken about this mask before but I think it's always interesting to revisit skincare as I know MY skin changes often so something I loved I might now hate and vice versa. I'm currently writing this on the drive home from Cornwall via my iPhone hot spot so if you were wondering where I've been this week.. that's where. If you live down there I really feel for your download speeds! I will never complain about my slow home internet again.. well, once we actually have it in the new house that is *sigh*

So on to the mask, historically I haven't been a big fan of this one, I don't love honey and that's obviously the main player here but it does adhere to the skin a little better than your average Lush mask. I know they're fresh and that's great and all but they're RUBBISH at staying where you put them. I'm repeating myself, I know but they're masks for the bath really, unless you want flakes of them all over your sofa/house. This was one I used to mix with others to get a little better 'stick' and I have been using it the same way with a couple I picked up recently but alone it's actually better tha I remember. I still don't love the scent but that's preference, the mask dries quickly and has scrubby grains that don't dissolve so both upon application and removal you get a gentle exfoliation that leave skin looking brighter and feeling smoother. I can't tell you it's better than your average face scrub but I don't use a lot of those these days so for me this was a nice softening treat and I would buy it again.. I just wish it smelled of ANYTHING other than honey.. well that and maybe rose, bleugh!
