Hello Happy - The Secret To Flawless Summer Skin?

MAN! I have never received so many compliments on my skin as I have this week. I was starting to think I was just naturally fabulous until I realised I have been testing out a new foundation. I haven't worn foundation much in this relentless heat so it may just be compared to my bare skin that people were so 'wowed' but with that in mind, they obviously thought it was my skin that looked good and not makeup so that's a huge plus for the product, right?Honestly, I didn't think I'd love this stuff, I haven't enjoyed a benefit foundation.. maybe ever? So I was really only wearing it to review and didn't have high hopes. You need to give it a good shake to get the best mix from the bottle but once you do.. it's pretty awesome.  I've reached for it every day this week, in fact because it's so easy to apply. Blends beautifully, shade 3 is perfect for my current tan and the blurring effect gives me the flawless skin that people keep commenting on. It's relatively light weight but you can build it up, it's not transfer proof though so face touchers beware! Here's before/after application: And Freshly applied vs 7 hours laterThe best thing? Benefit have made a nicely priced mini so if you're not prepared to shell out the £25.50 (£20.40 in the sale today) for the 30ml then you can buy the 6ml for £8.50 (not in the sale) to test out first. I have been using a decent amount of product per application so I'm interested to see how long it lasts me. It may not end up being the most cost effective base I own but as far as finish goes, its up there. The longevity will depend on your skin and how you set it. I've worn it with and without powder and it definitely lasts longer with powder on top. I've also found that it lasts longer when applied more heavily but I do like that it can be sheered out to give that blurred effect with more of your own skin showing through. It's a really versatile foundation and perfect for Summer if you're looking to try something new.
