Maybelline Snapscara + Tattoo Brow

#GIFTEDI was totally sucked in to the Buy One Get One Half Price in Boots the other week which is why I ended up with a new mascara I didn't really need. I did need the pressed powder but the SnapScara was a happy(ish) accident. I've been pretty steadfast in my lash picks lately and have maybe only had one new mascara in the past 12 months as a result. My current favourite is the Roller Lash from Benefit and; until it shrivelled in to an unusable clump, I favoured the L'Oreal Lash Paradise.Snapscara is so named because it is easy to remove (in a snap) but it also claims to be clump and smudge free while providing volume. It is easy to remove, it doesn't smudge on my brow bone (my usual plight) and it is clump free.. but it doesn't offer all that much volume. A nice enough product but it wouldn't lure me away from my staples. The Tattoo Brow waterproof gel is more interesting! I have my brows microbladed so I'm not often all that bothered about brow launches these days but I've noticed that when I wear heavier makeup I really do need something a little extra to deepen my arches so I gave this a shot. Very tricky to apply with the wand it comes with - much easier with a small angled brush. It does stay put in water and if you're creating brows from nothing and looking for something hardcore to last you on holiday then I think you'll enjoy this but it's not an everyday product for me. A little too fussy and quite the opposite of it's Snapscara cousin when it comes to removal.
